The new horizon in healthcare was inaugurated in Katiadi, Kishoreganj.

A new frontier In the field of healthcare has opened up in Kataidi Upazilla, kishoreganj. Hon’ble Member of Parliament for Kishoreganj 02 (Katiadi-Pakundia), Mr Nur Muhammad MP, inaugurated the JIMCH Health Centre, kataidi by cutting a cake in a festive atmosphere on the second floor of Riaz Bhaban on Dargah Jame Mosque Road,helal sha mor  in Katiadi Upazila on June 11, 2021. This health center directly supervises by Jahurul Islam Medical College Hospital.

Mr Abu Lutfe Fazle Rahim Khan, Aditional Director-General of Jahurul Islam Medical College Hospital, was also present at the inaugural program. Prof. Bahar Uddin Bhuiyan, Director of Jahurul Islam Medical College Hospital, presided over the program. Also present as special guests were Mr Mojibur Rahman (Civil Surgeon Kishoreganj), Md. Sonahar Ali Sharif (Additional Superintendent of Police, Hossainpur Circle, Kishoreganj), Mr Shukkur Ali (Mayor, Katiadi Municipality), SM Shahadat Hossain (OC, Katiadi Model Police Station)  & also leaders of different levels of the local Awami League. In his welcoming address, Chairperson Prof. Bahar Uddin Bhuiyan said, “We are committed to providing accurate tests and quality services at the earliest. Jahurul Islam Medical College Hospital has provided health services at low cost with your trust and confidence for over 32 years.” Mr Abu Lutfe Fazle Rahim Khan, ADG of JIMCH paid his respects to the late Alhaj Jahurul Islam. He said that the late Chairman of Jahurul Islam Medical College and Hospital assured him that the non-profitable health services he had set up for the medical care of the rural masses would continue. Chief Guest Mr Noor Muhammad, Member of Parliament for Kishoreganj 02 (Katiadi-Pakundia), said, “Keeping in mind the common man, providing medical services to the people at the beginning is a new addition to modern healthcare. I want to thank Jahurul Islam Medical College Hospital for moving forward in this direction and requesting them to be by the side of the marginalized people of the village by providing quality medical services. He said the doctor would be the person who will provide medical services knowing the patient’s condition.
