Since the establishment of the hospital the department has been playing vital role being the center for advanced criticare management of the whole Hospital along with providing anaesthesia for all surgical departments. The department has an organized team which includes Professors, Consultants, Residential Medical Officers for surgical anaesthesia, preanaesthetic and post anaesthetic HDU and ICU care. It operates six operating theaters, 20 post anaesthetic care beds, 05 HDU beds and 02 ICU beds. All the sectors are well equipped with modern EMEs and state of art management protocol. The team has optimum skills to perform all kinds of lifesaving criticare procedures. Besides complicated surgical patients it also receives non surgical patients in ICU or HDU from inhouse places and other hospital for life saving supports and cares. Integrated multi speciality approach, quick evaluation, treatment, accountability for patient’s welfare is the base of our management. Patient’s relatives are well communicated always that makes a good rapport between relatives and our team eventually. It organizes CME programs regularly and always keeps an avenue open for innovative exercises.
